The Chinese New Year Gathering & Lion Dance Performance 2025, jointly organized by ACEM Sabah, the Sabah Engineers Association, and IEM Sabah, took place on February 8, 2025. The event was further elevated by the attendance of the Sabah Minister of Works, Datuk Ir. Shahelmey Yahya, making the celebration all the more memorable. The Minister’s arrival was met with a warm reception from the three association leaders, Datuk Ir. Chin Shu Ying (ACEM Sabah Branch Chairman), Ir. Yap Kok Wai (SEA President), and Ir. Ts. Tan Kok Jyh (IEM Sabah Vice Chairman), alongside committee members, members, and their families. The event went smoothly with the Lion Dance Performance, Angpow given for children, prosperity toss (lou sang) with the Minister, and continued with lunch.
