On 14 April 2026, ACEM Sabah delegates led by the Branch Chairman, Ir. Benny Song, paid a courtesy call to the Penampang Municipal Council. The delegation was warmly received by the President, Mdm. Noemi Dyna John Tren.

The visit served as a platform to strengthen ties and enhance collaboration between the council and ACEM Sabah. During the meeting, the ACEM Sabah delegation introduced its 2025–2026 Committee Members and engaged in a constructive exchange of views and ideas with the council. The discussion also focused on fostering mutual understanding, exploring possible avenues for future cooperation and engagement, and establishing closer working relations between the Penampang Municipal Council and ACEM Sabah.
