On 11 August 2026, a delegation from ACEM Sabah, led by the Branch Chairman, Ir. Benny Song, paid a courtesy call to the Jabatan Kerja Raya Sabah (JKR Sabah). The delegation was warmly received by the Director of JKR Sabah, Tuan Baharuhom bin K.K. Sogon.

The visit provided an opportunity for ACEM Sabah to introduce the Branch and its committee members, as well as to discuss matters of mutual interest and importance to the engineering consultancy sector. Discussions included supervision work, wayleave matters relating to JKR requirements and coordination, and updates on the Pan Borneo Highway project.

The courtesy call also served to strengthen the collaboration and communication between ACEM Sabah and JKR Sabah, particularly in addressing issues related to engineering consultancy and infrastructure development in Sabah.
