ACEM-CNAEC Meeting

On the 30th of November 2023, the Traders Club Lounge Meeting Room on Level 32 of Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur witnessed the second edition of the ACEM-CNAEC Meeting. This meeting served as a pivotal moment for professionals in the engineering field, fostering collaboration and understanding between the Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia (ACEM) and the China National Association of Engineering Consultants (CNAEC).

The event commenced with a warm welcome and introduction by Ir. Chong Chew Fan, ACEM President, who set the tone for the day’s discussions. In his Welcome Remarks, Ir. Chong Chew Fan extended greetings to the CNAEC delegates and provided a brief introduction to the ACEM representatives present. Following suit, Mr. Wu Lei, Vice Secretary General of CNAEC, welcomed the ACEM delegation and introduced the CNAEC delegates. His opening remarks underscored the significance of such collaborative efforts in strengthening ties between engineering professionals from different regions.

The meeting then delved into a session of introductions, where Ir. Chong Chew Fan provided a brief overview of ACEM, highlighting its mission and the roles of council members.
