The Course on Bridge Engineering was successfully held on April 22, 23, 29, and 30, 2025, at Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya. The event ran from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day and attracted 25 participants . The venue, known for its modern facilities and comfortable setting, provided an ideal environment for learning and professional exchange, with state-of-the-art meeting rooms and amenities that supported the smooth running of the course.
Ir. Patrick Augustin, the distinguished speaker for the course, brought a wealth of expertise to the sessions. He holds a B.Sc. (Upper 2nd Class Honours Engineering) from Lancaster University and a DIC, M.Sc. (Concrete Structures) from Imperial College London. As a registered Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer, and Fellow of IEM, ICE, and IStructE, as well as a member of ACEM, Ir. Patrick’s credentials are exemplary. He has also served as a Council Member for both ACEM and IEM, and is recognized as a BEM Accredited Checker and HRD Accredited Trainer.
