On 14 January 2023, ACEM Sabah jointly organized a Forum on the “Sustainability of Rock Aggregate for The Construction Industry in Sabah” & “Road Pavement Design Process and Aggregate Specification” with IEM Sabah, Sabah Engineers Association (SEA) and Sabah Quarry Owners Association. Ir. Hiew Vun Heng, one of the ACEM Sabah members, was invited to present the topic on the “Road Pavement Design Process and Aggregate Specification” while the “Sustainability of Rock Aggregate for The Construction Industry in Sabah” was presented by Geologist, Mr. Alexander Yan from the SQOA. The event was successfully executed with 56 participants attending, consisting of ACEM Sabah, SEA, IEM Sabah, and SQOA members.
