The Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia (ACEM), Sarawak Branch, successfully organized a one-day seminar on “Certificate of Completion and Compliance” (CCC) and “Letter of Release” (LOR) on 14th May 2025 at the ACEM Seminar Room, King’s Centre, Kuching. The seminar was conducted by Ir. Chen Thiam Leong, a highly respected figure in the industry with over 40 years of experience in Building Services.
The seminar aimed to raise awareness and enhance understanding among engineers regarding the importance of the CCC, particularly in the context of online submission and lodging of CCC forms as practiced in Peninsular Malaysia. Additionally, the session covered the significance of the Letter of Release (LOR), in line with BEM Circular 1/1992.
The event drew the participation of nine attendees, offering them valuable insights and practical guidance on the relevant procedures and compliance requirements in professional engineering practice.
