The ACEM-BASAM System Integrator Training Course & Exam #12024 was conducted from May 14 to May 16, 2024. The event took place daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Ballroom V (Main Wing) at the Tropicana Golf & Country Club. A total of 18 participants attended the training.
The programme was structured over three days, each focusing on different aspects of Building Automation Systems (BAS). On the first day, attendees were given an overview of BAS and the design provisions, setting the foundational knowledge necessary for understanding complex systems. The second day was dedicated to the integration of BAS within Building Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems, highlighting the practical applications and challenges faced in real-world scenarios. The final day covered BAS trending and analytics, providing insights into data interpretation and system performance monitoring.
The training was led by a team of experienced trainers, including Ir. Chen Thiam Leong, Ir. Dr. Ling Chin Poh, Ir. JY Ng, and Ir. Chin Kok Hoe. Their combined expertise ensured a comprehensive learning experience, equipping participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in system integration.
