ACEM recently conducted the Construction Design & Management (CDM) Professional & CDM Coordinator Course in line with the COM Regulation 2024 by DOSH Malaysia. The course took place on 28 & 29 January 2026 at Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya, followed by an online session on 30 January 2026, and was attended by 20 participants.
The programme covered key CDM topics, including the roles and duties of duty holders, General Principle of Prevention (GPP), COM prevention concepts, and practical workshops on Design Review Assessment (DRA) and ORA methodology. Participants also engaged in group exercises and online assessment briefings.
The course was led by Ir. Nimi binti Ahmad, former Assistant Director of DOSH, and Encik Nazruddin bin Mat Ali, former Director of DOSH’s Construction Site Safety Division. Their expertise provided participants with practical insights on regulatory compliance, occupational safety, and effective construction management.
