On Tuesday, 4 November 2025, the “Passing PAE” webinar was successfully conducted via Zoom, with 80 participants joining the session. The programme catered to Graduate Engineers preparing for the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) Outcome-Based Professional Assessment Examination, providing essential information and practical guidance ahead of their assessments.
The webinar was delivered by Ir. K. Sundraraj, ACEM Past President and BEM Certified PAE Interviewer, who shared valuable insights from his extensive experience interviewing PAE candidates. His presentation offered a clear introduction to the Outcome-Based PAE, covering the assessment structure, expectations, and key components.
Participants also received detailed guidance on preparing PAE interview documents, including effective methods to compile, organise, and present the required materials. Additionally, Ir. Sundraraj explained the PAE interview process, outlining the interview format, evaluation approach, and areas commonly emphasised by assessors, equipping attendees with practical strategies to succeed.
