ACEM Sabah, led by Branch Chairman Ir. Benny Song, extended a courtesy call to Kota Kinabalu City Hall (DBKK) on the 4 September 2025. The delegation was formally received by DBKK Director General, Datuk Sr. Lifred Wong.

Discussions during the visit focused on strengthening collaboration and fostering mutual understanding. Key matters included approval timelines, regulatory compliance, and the integration of engineering best practices into public infrastructure projects. Both parties also explored opportunities to enhance sustainable urban development and improve coordination through the proposed establishment of a special technical working group.
