On 5 February 2026, representatives paid a courtesy call to YB Datuk Ir. Chin Shu Ying to formally invite her to grace the SEA / IEM Sabah / ACEM Sabah Chinese New Year Gathering and Lion Dance Performance as the Guest of Honour.

The delegation attending the courtesy call comprised Ir. Benny Song, Datuk Ir. Ts. Amarjit Singh, Ir. James Leong, Ir. Kenny Lo, and Ir. Ts. Tan Kok Jyh. The event was scheduled to take place on 28 February 2026.
