On 9 March 2026, ACEM Sabah organised a courtesy call to the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Transport Sabah (MINDET). The delegation, led by the Branch Chairman, Ir. Benny Song, was joined by Ir. Wah Kheng Haw, Ir. Kenny Lo, Ir. Tan Koh Yon, Ir. Mohd Arzahri bin Abdul Rahman, Ir. Lee Tet Fon and Ir. Lo Chong Chiun. The delegates were received by the Minister, YB Datuk Ewon Benedick.

The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships and foster closer collaboration between MINDET Sabah and ACEM Sabah. Key highlights of the meeting included the introduction of the ACEM Sabah Committee Members for the 2025–2026 session, an exchange of views and ideas, as well as discussions on potential areas of cooperation and future engagement between both parties.
