ACEM Sabah organised a technical study tour to Nanchang, Jiangxi, China, from 14 to 18 September 2026, to gain exposure to developments in renewable energy, environmental engineering, and sustainable infrastructure.

The programme included a visit to the PowerChina Jiangxi Electric Power Design Institute, providing insights into engineering design and energy-related projects. The delegation also visited the Zhixin Urban Marine Factory, De’an Kaidi Biomass Power Generation Project, and Everbright Environmental Energy (Yongxin) Waste-to-Energy Project.

The study tour enabled participants to observe the application of engineering solutions in biomass power generation, waste-to-energy conversion, and environmental management. It also provided a platform to explore potential areas of technical exchange and collaboration in low-carbon infrastructure and sustainable development between ACEM Sabah and POWERCHINA JEPCC.
