Jointly organised by ACEM Sabah and IEM Sabah, the technical session was held on 7 October 2026 at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu, with 43 participants.

The session covered basic seismic theory, MS EN 1998, automated seismic load combinations, torsional sensitivity checks, and dynamic finite element analysis (FEA). Participants also gained insights into tools that streamline structural analysis, reduce manual post-processing, and support safe, code-compliant, and cost-effective structural design in Sabah’s seismic environment.
