Event: Joint Courtesy Call to JKR Sabah

A courtesy call has been made to the director of JKR Sabah, Ybhg. Datuk Ir. Hj. Ali Ahmad bin Hamid. The courtesy call was led by the ACEM Sabah Branch Chairman, Ir. Razalie Sindong, and was joined by representatives from IEM Sabah and Sabah Engineers Association (SEA). A joint Memorandum, signed by the three-engineering fraternity was handed over to the Director during the courtesy call. Among issues included in the memorandum are;

1) To prioritize local consultants for the state’s projects.
2) Suitable Scale of Fees in state’s projects.
3) Consultant’s supervision scope in construction aspect.
4) Stipulation of consultant’s project ceiling cost.
5) Setting up of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) branch in Sabah.
