On Tuesday, 7 July 2026, ACEM successfully hosted its “Passing PAE” webinar via Zoom from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the participation of 58 Graduate Engineers.

Designed to support engineers preparing for the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) Outcome-Based Professional Assessment Examination (PAE), the webinar provided valuable guidance on the examination process and expectations.

The session was delivered by Ir. K. Sundraraj, ACEM Past President and BEM Certified PAE Interviewer, who shared practical insights drawn from his extensive experience as a professional assessor. Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the Outcome-Based PAE, including its structure, assessment criteria, and the key competencies evaluated during the examination.

The webinar also covered essential preparation for the PAE interview, including advice on compiling interview documents, understanding the interview format, and recognising the areas most assessed by interviewers.
