On 12 May 2026, ACEM held the Zoom webinar “Building Paris 2024: Delivering the Olympic Village and Hockey Stadium on Time and Sustainably” with a total of 29 participants.
The webinar presented the delivery of the infrastructure for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games through two case studies, the Athletes’ Village and the field hockey stadium. It covered the projects and their objectives, the solutions implemented to achieve them, the successes and limitations of these approaches, and an outlook on the future of project management in the construction industry.
The session was delivered by Jean Dessertine, a French Civil Engineer and Architect with over 20 years of experience in Project Management and PMO roles. He contributed to two projects for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Olympic Village and the field hockey stadium.
