Bentley Systems Singapore Pte Ltd, in collaboration with ACEM Sarawak Branch, organized a 4-day Bentley Systems Hands-on Workshop on 2 July, 7 July, 4 August, and 18 August 2026.

The first workshop, titled “Geotechnical: Mitigating Risk in Soft Ground & Slopes through Sound Geotechnical Analysis,” was held on 2 July 2026 at the ACEM Sarawak Branch Seminar Room in Kuching. The session was delivered by Mr. Lin Xin-Cheng from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Ms. How Ja Mie from Bentley Systems (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.

A total of 11 engineers attended the workshop. The session provided participants with practical guidance on the application of computerized geotechnical solutions for soft ground improvement and slope stability assessment. Through hands-on exercises, participants gained experience in using PLAXIS and GeoStudio software to perform geotechnical analyses and evaluate engineering solutions for challenging ground conditions.
