On Tuesday, 7 April 2026, ACEM successfully conducted the “Passing PAE” webinar via Zoom from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., attracting 53 participants. The session was tailored for Graduate Engineers preparing for the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) Outcome-Based Professional Assessment Examination (PAE).
The webinar was presented by Ir. K. Sundraraj, ACEM Past President and BEM Certified PAE Interviewer, who shared practical insights based on his extensive experience. Participants gained a clearer understanding of the Outcome-Based PAE, including its structure, expectations, and key assessment components.
The session also provided useful guidance on preparing PAE interview documents, as well as an overview of the interview process, including the format, evaluation approach, and areas commonly emphasised by assessors.
